NUS Thai Music Ensemble with Chulalongkorn University.

Chulalongkorn University was invited by NUS Thai Music Ensemble to have a workshop and a performance here in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. It has been a fruitful 2 weeks of intense workshop for the musicians of the NUS Thai Music Ensemble and students of the Southeast Asian Studies Programme, NUS.









NUS Thai Music Ensemble would like to thank the Chulalongkorn University for its gracious attendence and hardwork and dedication in teaching our musicians and students here in NUS.

Come to enjoy an evening of gamelan music dance from the Javanese royal courts of Surakarta and classical Thai music, performed by NUS ensembles with the finest musicians from Thailand and Indonesia as special guests. The spectacular large Javanese and Thai musical ensembles consist of many gongs of various sizes, drums, xylophones, metallophones, string instruments, and more. The concert will also feature a virtuosic solo on two xylophones by one of the finest Thai xylophone masters. Thai food will be provided by the Royal Thai Embassy.
